Packaging
Secured with steel straps. Wooden dunnage is placed between layers to avoid shifting during transit.

Avoid direct contact between unprotected slings/hooks and pipes to prevent surface damage and deformation.
Store pipes in cool, dry, ventilated areas to prevent pre-installation rust.

1. Why choose S275J0H instead of standard S275JR for piling?
Prevent brittle fracture. S275J0 achieves minimum 27J Charpy V-notch impact energy at 0°C. When subjected to heavy dynamic driving loads in hard soil or cold regions, it avoids pipe cracking. S275JR only guarantees room-temperature impact performance and carries risks of serious structural failure under such conditions.
2. How to guarantee reliable welds under high-impact piling?
Full NDT inspection. All structural welds receive 100% ultrasonic testing (UT), with additional radiographic testing (RT) on pipe ends. Welding procedures comply with EN ISO 15614-1 to eliminate internal defects and ensure weld strength matches the base material.
3. How to avoid HDG coating peeling during transport?
Silicon control + Sa 2.5 surface blasting. Steel silicon content controlled below 0.03% or within 0.14%–0.25% to prevent Sandelin effect and brittle zinc layers. Surface preparation to ISO 8501-1 Sa 2.5 creates firm, flexible galvanized coating resistant to abrasion and delamination.
4. Best coating solution for C5-M harsh marine environment?
Glass-flake epoxy coating with complete holiday testing. 400–500 μm dry film glass-flake epoxy applied on a 50–80 μm blasted profile. Each pipe undergoes 100% high-voltage spark holiday detection to eliminate pinholes and block chloride penetration.
5. How to protect coatings from scratches in transit?
Non-metal isolation. Rubber or plastic spacers separate stacked pipes; heavy-duty end caps prevent end impact. Only fabric or nylon slings are adopted for loading to avoid metal-to-metal contact.
