EN 10025-2 S355K2 Wide Flange Structural Steel H Beam for Infrastructure Construction
S355K2 H-beams are top-grade high-strength non-alloy structural steels under the European standard EN 10025-2. Their "K2" grade represents excellent low-temperature impact performance, maintaining structural stability under extreme climatic conditions and high-intensity loads. As a wide-flange structure, it offers greater torsional resistance and section efficiency than conventional I-beams.
S355: Minimum yield strength 355 MPa.
K2: Impact energy not less than 40 J at -20°C (higher than J2 grade 27 J).
Design: Wide-flange section, suitable for welded, bolted, and riveted structures.

Extremely high safety redundancy: The 40J impact toughness provides excellent anti brittle fracture protection for the structure, especially suitable for heavy machinery bases or bridge main beams that can withstand vibration and impact forces.
Excellent welding reliability: strict control of carbon equivalent (CEV) ensures excellent joint quality during thick plate welding, reducing the risk of delayed cracking.
Optimized structural weight: High strength to weight ratio allows engineers to use lighter cross-sections to achieve higher load-bearing goals, saving material and transportation costs.
Global applicability: specifically designed for high latitude cold regions or extreme working conditions.
Polar and high-altitude buildings: mining equipment supports and energy stations operating in low-temperature environments.
Heavy infrastructure: high-speed railway bridges, large-span industrial plants, and core frames of high-rise buildings.
Marine and Port Engineering: Pier Pile Foundations, Offshore Platform Components, Crane Main Beams.
Energy Engineering: Large wind turbine tower base, hydropower station gate structure.
Quality Control&Compliance
Material certification: Provide the original manufacturer's EN 10204 3.1 certificate, recording the chemical composition and physical experimental data for each heat number.
Ultrasonic testing (UT): It can perform EN 10160 standard testing according to requirements to ensure that there are no defects inside.
Global delivery: With rich experience in container (reinforced loading) and bulk carrier operations, covering major ports in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Our H-beams are securely bundled with steel strapping, wrapped in waterproof tarpaulin, and protected with desiccant bags and anti-rust oil to avoid rust during long-distance shipping. Each bundle is clearly labeled with grade, size, batch number and test certificate details for easy identification. We support customized packaging for container or flatbed transportation. With stable cooperation with major shipping lines including MSK, MSC and COSCO, we ensure on-time delivery: 7–15 days for stock items, 15–30 days for bulk orders. Strict quality control is applied throughout packaging and loading to guarantee intact delivery to your designated port.
