European Standard HEB Steel Beams – EN 10034 / EN 10025 | S235JR / S275JR / S355JR
HEB series are hot rolled wide flange beams produced to European specifications: EN 10034 governs dimensional tolerances, while EN 10025 covers technical delivery requirements for structural steel.
HEB profiles come with thicker webs and flanges than the HEA range. This delivers improved load capacity and structural stiffness, which makes them a top option for medium and heavy load engineering works.
They are extensively adopted throughout Europe and worldwide, commonly seen in steel structure buildings, bridge projects, industrial plants and public municipal infrastructure. Q1: What is the difference between HEB and HEA sections?
A: When HEA and HEB beams share the same nominal height, HEB features thicker webs and flanges. This delivers a bigger section modulus and improved load-bearing capacity, making HEB better suited for heavy-load projects.
Q2: Can you supply EN 10204 Type 3.2 inspection certificates?
A: Sure. Upon your demand, we can organize third-party testing from bodies such as SGS or BV to issue EN 10204 Type 3.2 certificates.
Q3: Do you set a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: No MOQ applies to standard stocked sizes, and mixed shipments are acceptable. If you require non-standard dimensions, kindly check with our sales team.
