Our ASTM A53 Gr. B ERW Schedule 40 black carbon steel pipe is produced under tightly‑controlled ERW manufacturing procedures. This approach keeps dimension consistency, sound weld integrity and steady mechanical properties across each batch.

Raw Material Inspection

Prior to production, incoming high‑grade carbon steel coils go through thorough checks. We verify chemical makeup, surface status, sheet thickness and dimensional accuracy before they enter production.

Coil Slitting

Steel coils are slit into narrow strips matching the exact width needed, based on the finished pipe’s outer diameter and wall thickness requirements.

Forming

Steel strips run through multiple forming rolls, gradually rolled into a round tubular profile.

ERW Welding

The two edges of the shaped steel strip get heated and fused by electric resistance welding, forming a continuous longitudinal weld seam.

Weld Inspection & Sizing

Right after welding, weld seams are checked. Pipes then pass through sizing rolls to calibrate outer diameter and roundness to meet target tolerances.

Cutting to Length

Tubing is cut to standard lengths or custom‑requested sizes. Pipe ends can be processed as plain ends or beveled ends upon demand.

Quality Inspection

Completed pipes are fully examined covering dimensions, surface finish, weld soundness and mechanical characteristics to satisfy ASTM A53 Gr.B specifications. Product tests and third‑party inspections are available as stipulated in purchase orders.

Marking, Packing & Shipment

Qualified pipes are printed with full product identifiers. They are firmly bundled and wrapped with waterproof protection, ready for container‑loaded or bulk delivery.
