Steel embedded parts(10mm-20mm thick,WLHT galvanized) for concrete foundation commonly used in Central America
Embedded parts: Steel plate embedded parts (10mm-20mm thick,HOT galvanized),suitable for the concrete foundation usually employed in Central America;
Connectors: High strength bolts(Grade 8.8,hot-dip galvanized),no weld on site,to save construction time;
Water-based fire retardant paint (fire resistance ≥1.5h)and acrylic anti-corrosive paint(UV resist, life span ≥10years) that meet local environmental protect policies.
Steel Structure Sections
We offer a complete range of standard structural steel profiles, covering all major global specifications:
I-beams (I‑shaped sections): In the UK these are known as UB (Universal Beam) and UC (Universal Column); in Europe they include IPE, HE, HL, HD and other standard sections; in the US they are referred to as wide flange beams (WF or W‑shapes) and H‑shapes.
Z-beams: Profiles with reversed half‑flanges.
HSS (Hollow Structural Sections) and SHS (Structural Hollow Sections): Available in square, rectangular, circular (tubular) and oval shapes.
Angle steel, also known as L‑shaped sections.
Structural channels and C‑shaped sections: Regularly supplied from stock.
T-beams (T‑shaped sections).
Steel bars: Rectangular cross‑section products that are not wide enough to be classified as plates.
Steel rods: Round and square profiles with circular or square cross‑sections, characterized by a long length relative to their width.
Steel sheets: Metal sheets with a thickness not exceeding 6 mm (1/4 inch).
| Processing Stage | Equipment Used | Description |
| Cutting | CNC plasma & flame cutting machines, shearing machines | Steel plates and sections are cut by plasma or flame cutting, while thinner plates are processed by shearing. Dimensional accuracy is strictly controlled. |
| Forming | Cold bending machines, press brakes, rolling machines | Cold bending is applied for C/Z purlins, press braking for edges and gutters, and rolling for circular or curved components. |
| Welding | Submerged arc welders, manual arc welders, CO₂ gas-shielded welders | Submerged arc welding is used for H beams and columns, manual welding for connection plates, and CO₂ welding for thinner steel parts. |
| Hole Making | CNC drilling machines, punching machines | CNC drilling ensures precise bolt holes in structural components, while punching is used for high-efficiency batch hole production with tight tolerances. |
| Surface Treatment | Shot blasting / sand blasting machines, grinders, galvanizing line | Surface cleaning is done by blasting, weld seams are ground smooth, and hot-dip galvanizing is applied for corrosion protection. |
| Assembly | Assembly platforms, measuring tools | Components are pre-assembled for fit-up inspection, then disassembled after dimensional verification for safe and efficient shipment. |
| Test Item | Standard & Method | Description |
| Salt Spray Test | ASTM B117 (neutral salt spray) / ISO 11997-1 (cyclic salt spray) | Evaluates corrosion resistance under high-salinity conditions, suitable for coastal environments such as Central America. |
| Adhesion Test | ASTM D3359 (cross-hatch) / ASTM D4541 (pull-off) | Cross-hatch test checks coating adhesion level, while pull-off test measures bonding strength between coating and substrate. |
| Humidity Resistance Test | ASTM D2247 (40掳C / 95% RH) | Assesses coating performance under high humidity to prevent blistering and cracking in rainy climates. |
| UV Aging Test | ASTM G154 | Simulates long-term UV exposure to ensure resistance to fading and surface degradation. |
| Film Thickness Test | ASTM D7091 (dry film) / ASTM D1212 (wet film) | Measures coating thickness to ensure it meets specified corrosion protection requirements. |
| Impact Resistance Test | ASTM D2794 | Evaluates coating durability under impact to reduce damage during handling and installation. |

Packaging:
Steel products are firmly packaged to protect its surface and keep the structure during handling and transportation. The components are usually wrapped with a waterproof material such as plastic film or rust preventing paper, and small accessories are packed in wooden boxes. In contrast, all bundles/sections are clearly labeled so you can unload them securely and professionally install them on-site.
Transportation:
Steel structure can be shipped by container or bulk ship based on size and destination. Large or heavy items are banded with steel strapping and wood is installed on both edges to hold the load in place while in transit. All of the logistic processes are done in accordance with international transport standards in order to guarantee delivery in a timely manner and safe arrival even if shipping over long distances or overseas.

Regarding Material Quality
Q: What standards do your steel structures adhere to?
A: Our steel structure buildings are manufactured according to internationally recognized standards (including ASTM standards), such as ASTM A36 and ASTM A572. ASTM A36 is commonly used for general structural applications, while ASTM A572 offers superior weather resistance and can be used in harsh weather environments.
Q: How do you guarantee the quality of your steel?
A: We only source steel from reputable domestic and international steel mills with a strong track record of quality. All materials undergo rigorous inspection processes, including chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, and non-destructive testing such as ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle testing (MPT) to ensure that the received materials fully comply with relevant standards.
