Inspection of the raw materials - select and inspect the good quality steel billets or coils.
Forming – Roll or pierce into pipe form (Seamless / ERW / SAW).
Welding – Pipe joints are welded using resistance welding or submerged arc welding.
Heat treatment – enhancing strength and toughness through precise heating.
Size adjustment and straightening – modify the pipe diameter and confirm that the size is correct.
Non-destructive testing (NDT) – Inspecting internal and surface defects.
Hydrostatic test – to test the strength and leakage of each pipe.
Surface coating – Apply an anti-corrosion layer (black varnish, FBE, 3LPE, etc.).
Marking and Inspection – Mark specifications and perform final quality inspection.
Packaging and delivery – Packaging, stacking and delivery, with factory test certificate.
Spanish-speaking Local Service Office: Our local subsidiary provides Spanish-speaking services, offering an excellent experience and ensuring the best possible import process.
Reliable Inventory: We maintain sufficient stock to promptly fulfill your order needs.
Safe Packaging: Pipes are tightly wrapped and sealed with multiple layers of bubble wrap to prevent deformation and damage during transportation, ensuring safety.
Fast and Efficient Delivery: International delivery to meet your project delivery requirements.
Premium Steel Tubing Packaging & Shipping to Central America
Robust Packaging: Our steel tubes are well packed in IPPC-fumigated wooden pallets which conform to the export standards of Central America. Each package has a three-layer waterproof membrane to resist the humid tropical climate, while the plastic end caps prevent dust and foreign matter reach inside the tubes. Unit loads are 2 to 3 tons that fit smaller cranes like those are widely utilized on construction jobsites in the area.
Custom Length Options: The standard length is 12 meters, which can be easily transported by container. You can also find the shorter lengths of 10 meters or 8 meters due to tropical land transport limitations in countries such as Guatemala and Honduras.
Complete documentation & Service: We will provide all the documentation required for easy import such as Spanish Certificate of Origin (form B), MTC Material Certificate, SGS Report, Packing List and Commercial Invoice. Wrong documentation will be corrected and re-sent within 24 hours to ensureajana smooth custom clearance.
Dependable Shipping & Logistics: Upon production, good are handed to a neutral shipper who carries them by land and sea. Usual transit times are:
China → Panama (Colon Port): 30 days
China →Mexico( Manzanillo Port): 28 days
China → Costa RicaCosta Rica (Limon Port): 35 days
We also offer short-haul delivery from port to oil field or construction site, working with local logistics partners such as TMM in Panama to best handle last-mile transport.
Q: Are your API 5L steel pipes compliant with up-to-date standards for the Americas market?
A: Absolutely. Our API 5L steel pipes are fully compliant with the latest API 5L 45th Revision—the only edition recognized by regulatory authorities across the Americas, including the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. They also meet ASME B36.10M dimensional standards, as well as local requirements such as Mexico’s NOM certification and Panama’s free trade zone regulations. All relevant certifications (API, NACE MR0175, ISO 9001) are verifiable directly on the official issuing bodies’ websites.
Q: How to Select the Right API 5L Steel Grade Tube for My Project (e.g., X52 vs. X65)?
A: The best choice starts with evaluating your project’s core parameters: operating pressure, fluid medium, and installation environment.
For low-pressure applications (≤3MPa), such as municipal gas lines or agricultural irrigation systems, Grade B or X42 is the most economical option.
For medium-pressure oil and gas transmission (3–7MPa) in onshore fields (like the Texas shale plays), X52 is by far the most versatile, go-to choice.
For high-pressure (≥7MPa) pipelines or offshore projects (for example, Brazil’s deepwater oil fields), we recommend API 5L X65, X70, or X80, which deliver high yield strength (448–552MPa) for demanding operating conditions.
