High Quality Affordable Customizable Galvanized Steel Pipe
The production process of hot-dip galvanized pipes begins with strict pretreatment of the steel pipe surface. First, degreasing with alkaline solution is used to remove oil stains, followed by pickling to remove rust and scale on the surface, and then washing and immersion in a plating agent (usually zinc ammonium chloride solution) to prevent the steel pipe from re-oxidation before immersion in the zinc liquid and enhance the wettability of the zinc liquid to the steel base. The pretreated steel pipe is immersed in molten zinc liquid at a temperature of up to about 460°C. The steel pipe stays in it for a sufficient time to allow iron and zinc to undergo metallurgical reactions, forming a tightly bonded iron-zinc alloy layer on the surface of the steel pipe, and a layer of pure zinc is covered on the outside of the alloy layer. After the dip plating is completed, the steel pipe is slowly lifted out of the zinc pot, while the thickness of the zinc layer is accurately controlled by an air knife (high-speed air flow) and excess zinc liquid is removed. Subsequently, the steel pipe enters a cooling water tank for rapid cooling and finalization, and may be passivated to further improve the corrosion resistance and appearance of the zinc coating. After passing the inspection, it becomes a hot-dip galvanized steel pipe with excellent corrosion resistance.

Features
1.Double protection of zinc layer:
A dense iron-zinc alloy layer (strong bonding force) and a pure zinc layer are formed on the surface, isolating air and moisture, greatly delaying the corrosion of steel pipes.
2.Sacrificial anode protection:
Even if the coating is partially damaged, zinc will corrode first (electrochemical protection), protecting the steel substrate from erosion.
3.Long life:
In a normal environment, the service life can reach 20-30 years, which is much longer than ordinary steel pipes (such as the life of painted pipes is about 3-5 years)
Application
Hot-dip galvanized pipes are widely used in building structures (such as factory trusses, scaffolding), municipal engineering (guardrails, street light poles, drainage pipes), energy and power (transmission towers, photovoltaic brackets), agricultural facilities (greenhouse skeletons, irrigation systems), industrial manufacturing (shelves, ventilation ducts) and other fields due to their excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and long life. They provide maintenance-free, low-cost and reliable protection in outdoor, humid or corrosive environments with a service life of up to 20-30 years. They are the preferred anti-corrosion solution to replace ordinary steel pipes.
