B500 steel reinforcement is the most commonly used grade of steel reinforcement in concrete strengthening due to its stable yield strength, good ductility, and reliable bond properties with concrete. Typical applications include:
Residential and Apartment Buildings
What is Structural Reinforcement? Structural reinforcement is used in foundations, beams, slabs, and columns to ensure the safety and stability of the structure.
Commercial/Industrial Buildings
It is also suitable for factories, warehouses, workshops, and commercial buildings requiring stable load-bearing capacity.
Infrastructure Engineering
Used in bridges, roads, tunnels, and retaining walls to ensure the long-term stability of the structure.
Public and Civil Engineering
Frequently used in schools, hospitals, municipal buildings, etc.
Precast Concrete Components
Highly recommended for precast beams, slabs, piles, and various other reinforced concrete structures.
1) Branch Office - Spanish-speaking support, customs clearance assistance, etc.
2) Over 5,000 tons of stock in stock, with a wide variety of sizes
3) Inspected by authoritative organizations such as CCIC, SGS, BV, and TUV, with standard seaworthy packaging
Bundled & Secured: Rebars are tightly strapped and supported with wooden blocks to prevent movement.
Labeled: Each bundle shows steel grade, diameter, length, and batch number.
Protected: Anti-rust oil, wrapping, or coatings ensure safe transport.
Flexible Delivery: Available by truck, container, or bulk shipment for domestic and overseas projects.
Custom Options: Cut-to-length, bent shapes, and special labeling available on request.
Stable cooperation with shipping companies such as MSK, MSC, COSCO efficiently logistics service chain, logistics service chain are we to your satisfaction.
We follow the standards of quality management system ISO9001 in all procedure, and have strict control from packaging material purchase to transport vehicle scheduling. This guarantees the products from the factory all the way to the project site, helping you build on a solid foundation for a trouble free project!
What is EN 10080?
EN 10080 is the european quality for weldable reinforcing steel with high mechanical properties relating to the weldability and the dimensional tolerances of reinforcing steel for concrete.
What does B500 mean?
“B” is reinforcing steel, “500” is minimum yield strength of 500 MPa. Typical classes of ductility are B500A, B500B, and B500C (where C is the most ductile class and A is the least).
Are B500 rebars weldable?
Yes EN 10080~26480 rebars are weldable, but welding must be conducted with appropriate procedures and with consideration of the steel’s carbon equivalent.
Common sizes and applications?
Uses Diameters from 6 to 40 mm for foundation, beams, columns, slabs and pre-fabricated mesh panels.
Is B500 better than other standards?
B500 is stronger than ASTM Grade 60 (approximately 420 MPa) but chemical composition & testing can vary so do always read your certificates.
