Royal Steel Group Koos professional export packaging for the structural steel beams to be protected during ocean transportation. Each bundle is usually banded with steel strapping and wrapped with waterproof membrane for H-beams for ocean shipment.

We deal with both containerized and bulk on carrier transportation.

Basic Protection

All bundles are wrapped with tarpaulin and 2-3 desiccant packs are placed inside. A heat-sealed waterproof membrane is used as the outer layer.

Duplex 12 -16 mm (1/2 inch standard) steel strap strapping. Each bundle is weighted 2-3 ton, adapted to the crane loading capacity in US ports.

Marking & Labeling

Dual language (English + Spanish) labels are placed on each bundle with clear information about material grade, size, H.S.code, batch number and test report reference.

For big H-section with the web height ≥ 800 mm, 1)industrial anti-rust oil is firstly coated on steel surfaces and then dried to wrapped with tarpaulin.
