ASTM A252 grade 3 steel pipe piles are welded structural steel pipes for application as deep foundation support under buildings, bridges, ports, and offshore engineering. There are two welding processes for these pipes: helical submerged arc welding pipe (SSAW) or the longitudinal submerged arc welding pipe (LSAW/EFW).
