    Technological Process

    1. Raw Material Preparation

    Bill Selection: Primarily carbon steel or low-alloy steel round billets.

    Chemical Composition Testing: Ensure billets meet ASTM A106 standards, including the content of C, Mn, P, S, and Si.

    Surface Inspection: Remove billets with cracks, porosity, and impurities.

    2. Heating & Piercing

    Place the billets in a reheating furnace, typically at 1100℃ - 1250℃.

    The heated billets are then fed into a piercing mill.

    Hollow billets are manufactured using the Mannesmann piercing method.

    A preliminary tube blank is formed, slightly larger in length and diameter than the final tube.

    3. Rolling (Elongation)

    **Hot Rolling Mill** continuously rolls hollow billets into seamless steel pipes with the required outer diameter and wall thickness.

    Includes:

    Longitudinal Rolling

    Elongation (Stretching)

    Sizing (Straightening)

    Controlling pipe wall thickness and outer diameter tolerances.

    4. Cooling

    The rolled pipes are naturally cooled by water or air.

    Optional Normalizing (Quenching & Tempering) is used to improve mechanical properties (such as tensile strength and yield strength).

    5. Cutting to Length

    Oxy-fuel cutting or sawing is used according to customer requirements.

    Standard lengths are typically 5.8m – 12m.

    6. Surface Treatment (Internal and External)

    Descaling/Picking: Acid pickling removes oxide scale.

    Oil Coating/Greasing: Ensures rust prevention during transportation and storage.

    Internal anti-corrosion treatment can be performed upon request.

    7. Testing/Inspection
