Specifications for Steel Sheet Pile Packaging and Handling /Transportation

Packaging instruction
Steel sheet piles are packaged in bundles, each tightly platestack bundled with metal or plastic strapping to maintain the stack during transport.

End Protection
To protect the ends of the bundles from being bent or dented, they are wrapped with a thick plastic sheet or the ends are protected with wooden blocks - they are well protected from impact, penetration, or damage.

Rust Prevention
All the stacks are treated with rust prevention : by applying anti-rust oil or by wrapping it with waterproof plastic film, which keep the materials away from getting rusted and maintain the quality during the transportation and storage.

Handling & Transportation Protocols

Loading
Bundles are safely hoisted onto trucks or the shipping containers relying on overhead cranes or forklifts, with due attention given to load-bearing limits, weight distribution, and the avoidance of tipping or damage.

Transit Stability
Stacked bundles are arranged such that stability is achieved, and tied down (e.g., through additional strapping, blocking, etc.) to also prevent shifting, bumping, or rattling during transit – which is essential to maintain product integrity and alert-free transportation.

Unloading
On the construction site, the packs are unloaded cautiously and placed for promptly use, which makes the procedure much easier and saves extra labors.
