Process of production
Seamless steel pipes are made by a tight process which guarantees a high strength, a homogenous structure and a good pressure resistance.
1. Billet Selection
The raw material is a high quality, round steel billet.
2. Heating
The billet is heated to temperature (about 1200 ℃~1300 ℃) for plastic deformation.
3. Piercing
A hollow shell is formed from a solid billet by a rotary piercing mill.
4. Rolling & Elongation
By the rolling mill the hollow shell is elongated and reduced in wall thickness.
5. Sizing & Stretch Reduction
The pipe is sized to an accurate O.D. and wall thickness.
6. Cooling & Straightening
For dimensional accuracy, the pipe is also cooled and mechanically straightened.
7. Cutting & Heat Treatment (Optional)
Pipes are cut to be made into pipes of required lengths and may be annealed, normalized or quenched & tempered for enhanced mechanical properties.
8. Inspection & Testing
Periodic quality checks include ultrasonic testing, hydrostatic testing and dimensional inspection.
9. Surface Treatment & Packaging
Anti rust treatment, bundled and packed for shipment.
Packaging is generally naked, steel wire binding, very strong.
If you have special requirements, you can use rust proof packaging, and more beautiful.

1. The carbon steel pipe needs to avoid impact, extrusion and shearing in transport, storage and use.
2. The use of carbon steel pipes must comply with the relevant safety operating procedures to avoid the occurrence of accidents such as blasts, fires, and poisoning.
3. Application Scope: High temperature corrosion resistant cold rolled Ifcor type carbon steel pipe should be used in The high temperature, do not contact with the high temperature gas and high temperature corrosion medium directly. If high temperature and corrosive atmosphere are unavoidable, please select the carbon steel pipes with special materials, ex. high temperature and corrosion resistant carbon steel pipes.
4. When ordering carbon steel pipes you should choose the right materials and specifications, considering the overall situation, includ ing environment of application, nature of the medium, pressure and temperature etc.
5. Before carbon steel pipes are used, they should be inspected and tested necessary to ensure that their quality meets the standards.
