What is Abrasion Resistant Steel?
Wear-resistant plate is a special steel plate with high wear resistance. It is mainly achieved by adding alloy elements such as chromium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, and vanadium to the steel, or using special rolling and heat treatment processes (such as quenching + tempering) to form a hard structure (such as martensite, bainite, etc.) on the surface and inside the steel plate, thus having the ability to resist wear (such as impact wear, sliding wear, abrasive wear, etc.). It is widely used in fields with severe wear such as mining, construction, engineering machinery, metallurgy, and electric power.

AR Steel Properties
Properties of AR steel plate, sheet & coil vary depending on the grade. The lower the grade, such as AR400, the more formable the steel is. The higher the grade, like AR500, the harder the steel is.
