High strength and toughness Long life
ISO certified and EN 13674 standard compliant
Appropriate for rough usage and industrial uses
Special chemical composition for high toughness and wear resistance
Available in different lengths, weights and profiles to allow for flexible use!
1. Preparation of the Raw Material
Choose the good quality steel billets or blooms.
Check chemical composition and defects
2. Heating & Rolling
Heat billets in the furnace to the rolling temperature.
HOT-ROLLING: The steel billet is hot-rolled into a high quality rail (25 kg/m to 60 kg/m) through a rolling mill.
3. Cooling & Straightening
Controlled cooling for the right hardness and toughness.
Polish rails to exactly the right dimensions, straightening rails as necessary.
4. Cutting & Finishing
Cut rails to size (12-25 m is typical) .
Finish rail head, foot and web faces
5. Quality Inspection
Test the mechanical properties (yield, tensile, hardness) of steel.
Measure sizes and surface quality.
Conduct NDT if required.
6. Packaging & Shipping Preparation
Tie up rails with bundles, add protective end caps.
Cover with waterproof wrapping for export only.
Load for delivery or shipment "
Construction of railway tracks for cargo and passenger trains
Industrial railroads for mining, ports, and warehouses
High load-bearing rails for material handling in logistics and industrial estates
Renewal and maintenance of existing rails
Rails in wooden or steel crates for safe transport
Long distance transport and sea freight with waterproof wrap
Plastic or metal caps at ends to prevent damage when loading/unloading
Port of origin to buyer’s site delivery available with tracking
Full MTC for all deliveries
1. What are EN R260 and R350HT rails?
They are steel quality grades classified according to European railway rail standards. R260 is recommended for standard passenger and freight tracks, while R350HT is a high-strength rail suitable for heavy-duty applications. Both conform to EN 13674 standard.
2. What are the main application areas?
Railway (passenger and freight), industrial rails in mines, ports, and factories; heavy transport rails for logistics and industrial parks; maintenance and replacement of installed rails.
3. How to order and export?
Rail exports require an MTC certificate, and packaging must conform to international standards (stuffing, waterproof packaging, end caps). Sample order lead time is 7-14 days, and bulk order lead time is 3-6 weeks. Please contact our sales team for a quotation.
