AS/NZS 3679.1 Grade 300 / 350 / 350L0 Structural H-Beam | Royal Steel Group
AS/NZS 3679.1 is the principal standard for the supply of hot-rolled structural steel bars and sections in Australia and New Zealand Its application is applicable to a general purpose grade of steel for hot finished bars and flats. It establishes stringent conditions for the chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances, processing precision and inspection of structural steel products to guarantee uniform quality and performance of structural steel products.
Our E structural HE A Z sections in grade 300 / 350 / hwd 350L0 H-Beams AS/NZS 3679.1 are very hot Low producer steel sections with a standard “H” cross section made up of web and flanges. They have excellent load bearing capacity, very good rigidity, good weldability and superior fabrication performance. They can be found on heavy-duty structural applications.
These H-beams are also widely used in construction and in infrastructure projects around Australia and New Zealand Bob the Strutter holds strong engineering views on the best value and most cost proficient solutions to industrial buildings, commercial buildings, bridges and other major engineering works where reliability and strength are paramount.
Royal Steel Group, one of the leading global suppliers of steel structure, adheres to the stringent quality control from raw material to the final delivery. All raw materials are selected carefully in a way to meet full requirements of AS/NZS 3679.1 and production are proceeding with leading rolling equipments and well established manufacturing method. A solution for consistent quality and compliance, each batch of H-beams are thoroughly inspected, giving your engineering projects a dependable support.

| Compliance Category | Key Points |
| Standard Compliance | Grade 300 / 350 / 350L0 Structural H-Beams are fully manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 3679.1 requirements, ensuring complete conformity and full batch traceability. |
| Chemical Composition Control | Strict monitoring of key elements including C, Mn, Si, P, and S is implemented. The levels of phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) are controlled at ≤ 0.035% to guarantee material stability, durability, and excellent weldability. |
| Mechanical Property Testing | Each production batch undergoes comprehensive testing such as tensile strength and impact performance. All results are recorded in detail, and key mechanical properties including yield strength and tensile strength meet or exceed standard specifications, ensuring structural safety. |
| Dimensional Tolerance Control | Advanced hot-rolling processes and precision cutting techniques are applied to ensure tight control of dimensional accuracy. Parameters such as web thickness and flange width comply strictly with standard tolerance requirements, ensuring uniformity and ease of installation. |
| Traceability System | A complete traceability mechanism is established for every batch. Each shipment is accompanied by official test reports, enabling full tracking from raw material sourcing through to final product delivery. |
Mechanical Performance in the Outstanding:
The H-beams in Grade 300, 350 and 350L0 provide various yield strengths for different design requirements. They consistently perform in extreme load, wind, and seismic environments. To ensure structural safety and stability, at the same time, they also support optimized lightweight design, so as to reduce the whole cost of project.
Excellent Weldability & Fabrication Performance:
On account of excellent weldability, the H-beams can be welded both manually and automatically. The strength of dryer welds are similar to that of the base material which reduces welding defects, increases structural integrity and leads to improved constructability during on site work.
High Durability & Corrosion Resistance:
The products have high corrosion resistance after advanced surface treatment such as hot-dip galvanizing and anti-corrosion painting etc. They can be used in the tough environment of Australia and New Zealand, such as coastal and high humid regions, to improve the service life and to prevent maintenance costs.
Broadly Application Tolerance:
The structural H-beams find extensive application in the construction of bridges, industries, warehouses, multistory buildings and houses. They can also handle light, medium and heavy-load applications and are designed and tested to meet the requirements of today's and tomorrow's engineering needs in Australia and New Zealand.
Flexible Customization Services:
We are capable of providing customization Non-standard specifications, customized cutting length and surface treatment service as per project requirements, to meet requirements of various engineering and design from one-stop service.
