The steel products are carefully packed to prevent its surface from being damaged and to avoid the deformation in the handling and transportation. Each part is packaged with waterproof material like plastic film or anti rust paper, smaller accessories are put in wooden box to keep indoors. All sections and bundles are labeled with the clear marking for safe unload and easy installation on site.
Transportation
Steel fabrications can be shipped by container or break bulk vessel according to size and port of destination. Big or heavy pieces are banded with steel strapping and wooden blocks are placed on end to keep the load stable while travelling. A: Our steel structure complies with the American Standards such as ASTM A36,ASTM A572 etc. for example: ASTM A36 is a general purpose carbon structural, A588 is a high – weather – resistanc structural suitable to be used in severe atmospherics.
Q: How do you control the quality of steel?
A: The steel materials are from the well-known domestic or international steel mills which has strict quality control system. When they arrived, the products are all tested rigorously, including the chemical composition analysis, the mechanical properties testing and the nondestructive testing, such as the ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle testing (MPT), to check if the quality meets with related standards.
